I'm glad I converted to Gel liner! The product itself is great, many other dupes available and I believe MAC is on the top of the list. 
Not the darkest of black I've seen but it goes on easily.
Pros: Easy to apply, multi-purpose usage: an eyeshadow or eyeshadow base.
Cons: The packaging it comes in, I think could easily dry out the gel - but it's easy to restore it. And price.
